BIO
Shijie Yang is an associate professor (with tenure) at the College of Business of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Before joining SUSTech, he served on the faculty at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He earned his Ph.D. degree from the University of Hong Kong and his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Xiamen University. His major research interests lie at the intersection of accounting and finance, including corporate disclosure, corporate finance, financial analysts, and the applications of artificial intelligence in accounting and finance.
