In What Style Should One Build：National style in nineteenth-century European and American architecture

摘要：

與18世紀(jì)相比，19世紀(jì)歐美的建筑開始轉(zhuǎn)向以“身份認(rèn)同”為重點的探索道路。這種轉(zhuǎn)變促使當(dāng)時的建筑師們，開始更多的思考地方和民族認(rèn)同如何在建筑風(fēng)格中體現(xiàn)，思考如何為各自的國家建立一種新的建筑精神，并積極付諸建筑實踐。

Abstract:

Compared with the 18th century, the architecture of Europe and America in the 19th century began to shift to a path of exploration focused on " national style ". This shift prompted architects at the time to think more about how local and national identities were reflected in architectural styles and how to establish a new architectural spirit for their respective countries, which they actively put into practice.
